Bishop Eric Hutton was born in the Bronx, New York to the proud parents of Jesse and Jearlene Hutton. He is the youngest of three siblings. Bishop Hutton moved to Huntsville, AL in 1991. In December 1998 he was married to the lovely and vocally gifted Kenneisha born in Pensacola, FL. God blessed them with three beautiful children (Kiana, Jadon, and Triston).
Bishop Hutton was blessed with musical gifts, beginning as a drummer at the age of 4 and keyboard at age 11. Along with this combination, he is vocally gifted and has gave these gifts back to God when he accepted Christ as Savior and Lord at the age of 12. He has since ministered with many well known gospel artists, and has played on and produced multiple recordings, some of which have charted on Billboard. He was also well known for his group Eric Hutton and Total Praize formed in 1996. In 1997, Bishop Hutton was licensed to the gospel ministry, ordained as an elder in 1998, and in 2009 consecrated to the office of Bishop in the Greater Hope International Covenant of Churches under the auspices of his spiritual father, Apostle R.E. Youngblood.
Bishop Hutton founded Bridge of Destiny Worship Center in 2001, which is a church assigned to the body of Christ to help further its development into the device predestination and purpose of God. It’s a place where everyone’s gift is useful and needed. A humble, anointed, and powerful man of God, Bishop Eric Hutton’s accomplishments are vast, but is most honored to be a child of the King and in everything gives full credit to God.
